Therapist Dr. Drew Martin

Hello, I’m Drew.

I have been in practice for over 20 years and am a clinical psychologist. My approach is to work collaboratively with clients helping empower them to establish a greater sense of peace and wholeness within their lives. I deeply enjoy helping clients become more aware and connected to the dynamics in their lives. In my practice I specialize in treating sexual addiction and compulsion, trauma, relationship problems and parent/child relationship issues. I see both individuals and couples in treatment, and work with parents on family and parenting issues.

I believe therapy is a healing process that includes the participation and investment from both me as the therapist and you the client. But in the end, making small changes and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring about deep healing.

Raised in the United Methodist Church, I describe myself as having an ecumenical approach to faith and prioritize the healing power of grace, mercy, and compassion. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kenyon College and my Doctor of Psychology degree (PsyD) from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. After working extensively in the Catholic Church for 20 years, I continue to conduct psychological evaluations for candidates to ordination and estimate that I’ve evaluated close to 1200 candidates and clergy during my career.

My fee per session is $200 per hour and I am in-network with Tricare insurance.

I’m currently licensed in New Jersey, Ohio, Maryland, and Virginia, I am also credentialed through PsyPact to work with clients via telehealth in 27 states. Given the range of my credentialing, it may be possible to seek insurance reimbursement for our work together.
